What is soft washing?

Soft washing uses low water pressure and cleaning solutions to break down and kill organic growth, so the chemistry does the work instead of force.

How soft washing works

Soft washing uses low water pressure.

It uses cleaning solutions to break down and kill organic growth, so the chemicals do most of the cleaning work rather than force.

What it's right for

House siding, roofs, gutters, fences and other delicate surfaces.

Because there's no high pressure driven at the surface, soft washing is far less likely to cause damage when it's done correctly.

Where pressure still belongs

Concrete — driveways, walkways, patios and pads — needs mechanical force and an even surface-cleaner pass. Siding and roofs do not.

Bottom line

If a company wants to put high pressure on your siding or roof, that's the wrong tool. Those surfaces get soft washed.
